Sheff began drawing at a very young age. At first as an only child, he kept himself occupied by drawing on numerous yellow legal pads his mother brought home from work. He pestered his father constantly by asking him to teach him how to draw the superheroes he saw in comics. In their military family, Sheff was exposed to many cultures and has lived in many different places. Silently, he honed his craft through high school and at various colleges and universities such as Northern Arizona University and the University of Guam until he graduated from Art Center, College of Design in Pasadena. He now freelances as an illustrator and lives with his wife Alison, his children, Dominique and Donovan in Las Vegas along with their dogs, Mocha, Maggie and their cat Cheyenne.
